Broken Electrical Outlet Cover

When it comes to electricity, it wouldn't be a bad idea, to contact a professional for any electrical repairs.

Broken electrical outlet covers are normally an easy fix. Go down to your local hardware store or home improvement center and purchase a new electrical outlet cover. Then go back to your house and remove the screw located in the center of the electrical outlet cover. Simply remove the damaged outlet cover and replace it with a new one.

Some electrical outlet covers have been painted and the paint around the perimeter of the cover could cause them to stick. Simply tap the edge of the damaged electrical outlet cover lightly, until it pops off.

Home Repair Tip: Do not forget, and I mean do not forget, that you are dealing with electricity. Do not stick anything into the exposed electrical outlet and box. If you have no experience and are uncomfortable replacing the electrical outlet cover, find someone who is comfortable and experience.
