Water Damage Repairs
Here's a good example of the damage water can actually do
to a piece of wood. This is the end of a beam that was sticking out from
the roof eave.
Moisture accumulates on the top of the wood beam for long periods of
time, eventually soaking into the wood. If the rest of the wood beam is
painted, the moisture will become trapped and eventually the water
damage repairs will need to be made.
Water damage repairs are a direct result of poor maintenance and
construction. Poorly maintained homes, often suffer from water damage
and wood rot.
Another problem that often creates water damage repairs, will be poor
construction methods. If the building isn't constructed correctly, you
could find yourself with some big home repair bills in the future.
