Ceramic Tile Shower Corner Damage

If you look closely at the ceramic tile shower corner you will see a gap in between the floor tile and the wall tile, next to the aluminum shower door. This is the only spot in the picture above that doesn't have any caulking yet.

A crack like this can do tremendous damage if not taken care of in a short period of time. The shower actually damaged the ceiling below and both will need to be repaired as soon as possible, to prevent more damage to the home.

Home Repair Tip: Caulking can only temporarily repair the cracks in the shower pan. If there is another shower in the home and there isn't enough money right now for the home repair, simply use the other shower until this is repaired. This becomes a bigger problem when you're shower is leaking and it's the only shower in the home.
