Cabinet Frame Damage

It's hard to tell, what actually caused this cabinet frame damage. If you look closely, you will see paint splatters on the cabinet, along with the cabinet stained fading.

This is common in older homes that aren't taking care of or maintained.

Home Repair Tip: This cabinet could be repaired simply by drilling a small hole into the cabinet door frame, (the cabinet door frame is the part of the cabinet where the doors are attached) and then driving a small finish nail through the cabinet door frame, into the side of the cabinet.

This would pull the front of the cabinet frame back to its original position.

Make sure that you use a drill bit that's a little bit smaller than the finish nail. By drilling a hole, you eliminate the chance of the cabinet frame splitting.
