Wall Damage From Window

The wall damage is obviously from the window, but can you tell if it's coming from the inside or the outside of the window. One of the biggest problems with making assumptions is the fact that you could be wrong.

Here's a special tip for home repair professionals. Sometimes moisture forms on the window as condensation from warm air inside the house and a cold window.

The condensation on the window, eventually drips down to the interior window sill and if there is enough moisture and nobody's cleaning it up regularly, you're going to find water damage on your wall.

Home Repair Tip: The best thing that I can think of, to do in a situation like this, is to regularly clean the window sill and keep it as dry as possible. Conditions like these will normally only occur in the wintertime, when the outside temperatures drop considerably and you're using your heater.
