Water Heater Damage

Click on Links In From Top To Bottom

A leaking hot water supply line to the water heater, caused extensive damage to the wall and framing. Mold and fungus, needed to be removed, damaged drywall needed to be removed and replaced and re-textured.

All of this could have been prevented if the renter would have notified the homeowner, that there was a problem.

Most water heater damage, takes place over time and is caused from water leaking from a water heater or the parts that are connecting it to the house. Water heater should be cleaned out yearly to prevent calcium buildup on the bottom of the water heater tank.
